How might I use these?
These are great for both indoor and outdoor use. They are great for helping young children to start to think about measurements, introducing a scientific element to water play and outdoor explorations. Their large size means you can also use them for exploring volume, displacement and density as you can drop objects into them and measure how much water is displaced. Try some streamlining explorations: make shapes out of plasticine and drop them in whilst timing how long it takes for different shapes to sink to the bottom!
