Looking for IGCSE Biology tuition? 
My waiting list now extends into years and I'm having to turn people away or leave them dangling for years on a waiting list. I hate having to disappoint so many so I am building a new tool to allow me to support many more students.

The 'Inspire to Learn IGCSE Biology Hub' is coming!
The hub will provide exam-focused support, tuition and guidance for your child, with emphasis on learning by developing an inspirational love and understanding of the subject, rather than just learning by cramming in information to pass the exam.

Passing the exam is, of course, the primary objective however! Everything will be focused on learning the exam technique, key words, exam question practice, mark scheme understanding, and ticking all those boxes needed to get the best grade possible. Rather than plodding through the specification a section at a time however, the sequence of tuition and structure of the supportive resources will be designed to take students on an inspirational journey that will lead them to develop deep understanding for the amazing role of Biology in the real world, and appreciation of the impact it has on every aspect of their lives.

Here's what's currently envisaged:

• Live, weekly, online group tuition from me (with optional joining in by chat / voice at certain times, webinar style but with practical demonstrations, interactive elements and opportunities to ask questions)
• Access to recordings of the live lessons
• Biology is everywhere! A library of videos showcasing biology in the real world (picture me rummaging in my compost heap to measure temperature change or digging up potatoes to demonstrate how they store glucose...!) All with clear links to the specification, lessons and key words
• Practical skills demonstrations - there will be lots of practical demonstrations in the live lessons, as well as a video library where I demonstrate the core practicals and experimental and practical techniques (such as drawing equipment guide, using a measuring cylinder accurately, measuring rates of reaction etc...)
• Exam technique video library - where I demonstrate techniques for working efficiently and effectively to gain maximum marks in different styles of exam question.
• Quiz consolidation - interactive quizzes at the end of each live session to consolidate learning
• Lesson support sheets - focusing on the key words and phrases that gaining marks in exams depend upon
• Recommended resources, support and equipment: lists of sources for all sorts of supplementary tools and resources you may find helpful
• Support guides - information, or sources of information to offer guidance on exam centres, access arrangements, revision techniques etc)
• Members forum- where students can post questions, connect and support each other
• Weekly answers - where I post video answers to some of the questions recently raised in the forum

Specification: Currently the plan is to cover all of the Edexcel IGCSE Biology specification. Though tailored to this exam board most of the content would be relevant to Cambridge and AQA also, and where possible I will flag up differences. Let me know what you would prefer by completing this quick form.

Enrolment: The cost, structure and method of enrolment is still very much in the planning stage. It is likely to run as a course spanning 18 months or so of live lessons, with options to enrol for the duration or join by monthly membership. Let me know what you would prefer by completing this quick form.

When will it be ready?
There's a lot to build and I'm working hard to get this ready as soon as possible!
It has to be right though and it has to be high quality, so this will take time.
Currently I hope to launch this in 2026 and ready to support students taking their Biology exam from May 2028.
